www.cyberstrider.net now shows Network Solutions Holding Page.

Just tried to have a look at www.cyberstrider.net and it had been replaced by a holding page from Network Solutions.

It also resolves to a different IP address than before.

This looks like the final nail in the coffin.

Is a comment from the COO OK? Have just come across your blog, via the twitter feed.

As you are aware, the Cyberstrider web site is now back up and running (with an announcement on the front page informing clients of our twitter page where any updates will be posted), although our client profile section is still down along with a number of our shared hosting customers.

However not all services are down and our ADSL, VoIP and wholesale Bandwidth clients are still up.

The issue is to do with the main hosting platform which had been hacked and we have been working on fixing this 24/7. The suspicious activity started on Thursday last week and although the server had been back up in between quite a few times, you probably did not notice.

The netsol holding page - this was done in response to some clients who wanted some sort of page to be up whilst we were bringing our own site up... however that was only in place for about 2 or 3 hours prior to our own site being back up and running.

Please let me assure you that we are still going and there is *no* final nail in the coffin.

I will be keeping an eye on this blog to pick up on any questions asked.

  2. Your comments are welcome. Part of the reason for setting up this blog was to try to get a response from you.

The most annoying thing about this siuation has been the complete lack of communication.

However, it is no 06:25, 8 hours after you comment and I am still seeing the network solutions holding page.

  3. Actually I take that back. I seem to have a name resolution issue. If I connect from my phone, I do get the cyberstrider page.

  4. Well, I've transferred my domain elsewhere so will be cancelling my account as soon as there sites are up and running again.

  5. I take your point about the lack of communication, however our phones were non-stop at this end which meant some people could not get through... with some clients calling every 10 minutes.

Unfortunately, constant phone calls does prevent my team from doing what they need to do.

Things are now being put into place which means that there will not be a lack of communication as we make use of technologies such as twitter (ironic really as our new blogs and twitter and facebook groups were due to go live on 1 July anyway).
